How it all began

Mrs. Nancy received a Master of Music degree in piano performance from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.
 
She studied piano with the Music Department Chair, Dr. Angela Willoughby and held a graduate assistantship in teaching and accompanying. Mrs. Nancy began her piano journey at the age of 5 under her mother's instruction, who also graduated with a piano performance degree and became a certified Yamaha piano instructor and the owner of England Royal Conservatory of  Music in Nantou, Taiwan. While growing up, Mrs. Nancy also followed the guidance of Dr. Hui-Qing Yan, the 1st Taiwanese who achieved the highest teaching honor in the International Yamaha Music System.
 
In a short period of time, Mrs. Nancy progressed quickly and achieved the Yamaha teaching level certification at the age of 10, along with a Master's Degree in Music at age of 21. Throughout her childhood, she won many 1st place prizes in local and international competitions. The experience gained from playing piano as a soloist, accompanist, as well as in ensembles and bands has shaped Mrs. Nancy into being a mature and highly developed pianist. She is passionate about contributing her love and knowledge of music to the next generation. Mrs. Nancy loves to interact with children and learn about them while teaching the piano. For over 16 years, Mrs. Nancy has been helping her students achieve their goals and enjoy their musical journey.



Currently Mrs. Nancy is involved in:

- California Certificate of Merit Piano Evaluator 

- Teaching member of the MTAC Coast Cities Branch

- Chair of the MTAC Honor Student Festival:
 Orange County Branch since 2018
  
- Piano Teacher at ABC School District
 
- Piano Teacher/Accompanist in Orange County, California
