How to create a healthy learning environment for your children?   The 5 "R"ules to all of us! Respect: treat others better than you would like to be treated. Responsible: Everyone plays a role. Progress only happens when everyone plays their role well. Represent: We all represent our unique background and culture. Let our behavior leave a pleasant memory for one another, Report: Please openly discuss any concerns or questions.   Repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly practice. Payment: Payments are due the 1st lesson each month. Fee for a late payment is $10 dollars Materials/fee will be included in the invoice  Cancellation: Cancellation notice must be sent at least 1 day prior to the lesson. (Failure to do so may result in a late fee of $10) If permissible, make-up lesson may be scheduled.   Discontinue: Please allow 30 days of notice before discontinuation. A survey will follow the notice.

Caterpillar Program:  30 minutes lesson $140 per month 45 minutes lesson $200 per month 60 minutes lesson $260 per month (based on 4 lessons a month) Designed for new beginners and early intermediate students to explore the fundamental aspects of piano learning. Lessons include repertoire, technique and music theory. Students are required to perform 2 recitals per year . Chrysalis program: 30 minutes lesson $160 per month 45 minutes lesson $220 per month 60 minutes lesson $280 per month (based on 4 lessons a month) Designed for level 3 and above. Students will perform 2 recitals a year and optional to participate in the Certificate of Merit Examination. Mrs. Nancy received a Master of Music degree in piano performance from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.   She studied piano with the Music Department Chair, Dr. Angela Willoughby and held a graduate assistantship in teaching and accompanying. Mrs. Nancy began her piano journey at the age of 5 under her mother's instruction, who also graduated with a piano performance degree and became a certified Yamaha piano instructor and the owner of England Royal Conservatory of  Music in Nantou, Taiwan. While growing up, Mrs. Nancy also followed the guidance of Dr. Hui-Qing Yan, the 1st Taiwanese who achieved the highest teaching honor in the International Yamaha Music System.   In a short period of time, Mrs. Nancy progressed quickly and achieved the Yamaha teaching level certification at the age of 10, along with a Master's Degree in Music at age of 21. An excellent teacher not only knows what to teach, but more importantly how to teach. The positive relationship between the teacher and the parents and student plays a very important factor on how successful the learning process will be. It is my goal to develop each of my students to have a comprehensive understanding of music that enables them to play the piano with the utmost enjoyment and musicality.    I provide a thorough demonstration through weekly private lessons and a variety of studio events. During lessons, time is spent on technique exercises, sight-reading, and polishing repertoire into artistic performances, with some time reserved for music theory and ear training. I believe the study of music benefits all individuals regardless of age or ability. My studio has preschool students, senior adults, and all ages in between.
